Bascomb United Methodist PreschoolOur teaching philosophy and curriculum at Bascomb Preschool embraces a hands-on learning approach, in keeping with the philosophy that children learn by doing. In the daily routine of the classroom, teachers will provide direct experience and exploration of the environment in order to provide active learning for the children. The Letter Person program serves as the four-year curriculum, while the threes and twos experience weekly themes organized into social studies units. In addition, the preschool offers music classes, library time, science lab, cooking class, art time and chapel as part of the curriculum. The Bascomb Preschool curriculum is designed to offer opportunity for language, cognitive, social, and physical development. Mother's Morning Out is also available.
Our commitment for the past 25 years has been to promote the educational development of young children in a Christian Environment. We are a small school, with BIG heart. Soccer, Ballet, and Tumblebus are at school options for after school enrichment. Classes are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
